Modular home VS Stick built Home
A stick built home has a lot of benefits that we cover on our New Home Construction services. You get full control of every detail that goes into your house. While this can be overwhelming, you know exactly what you’re getting and can make changes easier during construction. During construction of a new home, you can watch the quality and detail that CJM Builders puts into your home. Knowing that you had a contractor that never cuts corners, also allows you to rest easy.
On the other side, you have modular home construction, which is typically cheaper, the process is similar to a new home, with some caveats. For example, typically, you only have select floorplans to choose from for your new house. This is because the manufacturer makes that style homes in batches. This allows them to save on the construction and pass that along to you. The downside to someone building the home somewhere else, you do not have the opportunity to make changes during construction. It also does not allow you to see the quality, until it’s been put together. Making sure you choose a reputable manufacturer for the construction of your modular home is very important.
